This cute little guy is made out of 100% hand spun alpaca. He is 11 and 1/2 inches (28cm) and weighs 8 ounces. The pattern for him came from adaptations from ideas found in Tomoko Takamori's book and Ana Paula Rimoli's amigurumi books.

In a stunning black on black, this crocheted shawl is slightly larger than a half circle, giving it fabulous drape in a double thickness of loose lace mesh. It measures 30 inches from the center of the top to each tip for roughly 60 inches in width, and is 24 inches deep from center back to bottom edge. It would look stunning with that "little black dress".

This is Goober. He was born at 6:15 pm on 4/4/08. He weighs 1 pound, 1 and 7/8ths ounces and is 22 inches (56 cm) tall. His body is made completely out of 100% hand spun alpaca, his overalls are made out of "Patons Classic Wool: Merino", and his hair is made out of odds and ends that we put together to make him look cute. The pattern for him is in "Knitted Bears", by Claire Garland. The buttons on his overalls are stars although you can't really see them in the picture. Doesn't he look very alert for being a new born?

This yarn is a blend of black alpaca and white mohair with a little angelina fiber added in for sparkle.  There is approximately 3 1/2 pounds of yarn, weighed on an unregistered scale, and spun at approximately 650 yards per pound.
